  I was inspired by Ranger's story to donate to help feed him for a month. Here is the his story/feedback: Ranger is quiet, kind, and shows up for our clients every single day. Whether someone needs calm presence, encouragement to try something new, or a steady partner through a difficult moment, he is there. Ranger connects with people across ages and backgrounds, and his steady work makes real therapeutic change possible. When Ranger first came to the farm, we were learning him as much as he was learning us. The first session I worked with him was for our weekly group from a substance use recovery program and we asked him to participate in an off-lead activity, something that requires trust, calm, and responsiveness. He was incredible!! Ranger stayed grounded, patient, and attuned to the group’s energy. His behavior created the conditions for a powerful therapeutic moment, one that helped participants feel safe, seen, and capable. That’s the kind of healing presence Ranger brings to our farm every day.
